Oh No Tuesdays

September 27, 2016

Hello my lovely readers!  Today I want to share with you some products in my collection that I regret buying.

Let's begin!

Elf Poreless Face Primer

Elf claims that this primer is infused with tea tree and vitamins A and E for anti-aging.

I love Elf products, but I am quite disappointed when I tried this product on my face.

The texture of this primer is light and it applies smoothly.

I washed my face immediately because I can’t stand the smell.  It smells like petroleum.

It is greasy unlike other face primers.  I will never buy this again.

If you need a budget friendly face primer, I recommend Maybelline's Baby Skin and NYX Pore Filler.

Olay Moisturising Cream

The packaging is sleek and this moisturizer is budget friendly.

The cream has a mild powder scent. It applies evenly but this moisturizer is sticky.  I hate sticky moisturizers.

Who wants to have a sticky face anyway?  Don't waste your money.

The ingredients are:

Water, Glycerin, Mineral Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Cyclomethicone/Dimethicone Copolyol, Petrolatum, Stearyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Palmitate, Carbomer, Dimethicone,Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, PEG-100 Stearate, Stearic Acid, Methylparaben, Titanium Dioxide, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Propylparaben, Disodium EDTA, D&C Red #33.

This moisturizer contains Parabens.

NYX Natural Eyeshadow Palette

Who doesn't love NYX?  I love NYX products.  They offer the best lip products and blushes out there.

NYX Natural Eyeshadow Palette contains nude shades but the eyeshadows are not pigmented.  The eyeshadows are difficult to blend and the shades are light and chalky.

It doesn't have enough pigmentation no matter how much I layer the product.  It is really bad!

Just go for the NYX single eyeshadows.

Revlon Super Lustrous - Fatal Apple

Revlon Super Lustrous offers twelve shades. I have the shade Fatal Apple. This is quite streaky and light.  This may work  on top of your lipstick but it is difficult to blend.

If you want a very light lip gloss, this one may work for you.   If you are looking for a pigmented lip gloss, I recommend Revlon Colorstay Moisture stain.
